The jury is still out on QR codes and how effective they are as a marketing tool, but I like what was done on the signage for Stella Artois.

They used it in a setting where most people are sitting around waiting — a train station. So why not scan the QR code to help pass the time?

In addition, the ticket machine the sign was placed on is directly across from the station’s liquor store. If their message works, the convenience of being close to a liquor store may make the decision to buy a bottle of Stella that much easier.
